Resume2Job editorial policy

The standards used to keep public career guidance and product claims useful, reviewable, transparent, and proportional to available evidence.

Core standards

Accuracy before persuasion

Product and career guidance must distinguish verified facts, user-provided evidence, reasonable interpretation, uncertainty, and opinion.

No fabricated outcomes

Content must not invent customer results, ratings, testimonials, hiring outcomes, employer behavior, or product capabilities.

Primary sources for consequential facts

Occupational, regulatory, labor-market, pricing, and platform claims should use current first-party or official sources where available.

Visible limitations

Readers should be told when a score is approximate, a capability is beta, a source is geographically limited, or professional advice is required.

Useful original contribution

A page must add a framework, comparison, example, decision aid, or practical action—not merely restate search results.

Corrections over defensiveness

Material errors or unsupported claims should be corrected promptly, with the page review date updated when appropriate.

Authorship and review

Public pages are published by the Resume2Job Editorial Team. A page marked reviewed has been checked for user intent, originality, product accuracy, unsupported claims, limitations, internal links, metadata, and technical indexability. Team authorship does not imply review by a licensed career counselor unless the page explicitly names one.

Use of AI

AI tools may help research a structure, compare text, draft, edit, or validate content. AI output is not treated as a source. Material claims must be checked against product behavior, repository evidence, official documentation, or another appropriate primary source.

Product claims

Product capabilities are described as live and verified, live with limitations, beta, planned, or unsupported. Pages must not imply that a planned or beta feature is generally available. Pricing, allowances, and limitations should match the current product source of truth.

Career and hiring claims

Resume2Job does not claim to reproduce an employer’s applicant tracking system or predict a hiring outcome. Career guidance should identify assumptions, constraints, and uncertainty. Legal, immigration, financial, medical, and mental-health questions should be directed to qualified professionals.

Sources, links, and updates

Current official and first-party sources are preferred for occupational data, regulations, platform behavior, and technical requirements. Secondary sources may be used for context when clearly identified and when primary evidence is unavailable.

External links are reviewed for relevance at publication, but Resume2Job does not control external content. Page dates indicate the last substantive editorial review, not a promise that every external fact changed on that date.

Corrections and feedback

Send factual corrections, unsupported-claim reports, broken links, or product-status discrepancies to support@resume2job.net. Include the URL and the specific statement in question.
